Great folks. Found out in conversation they were veterans and I was sold immediately. I am SO HAPPY with Lawn Doctor, Jason, and Keegan! My lawn was full of weeds that sprung up over the winter. Additionally, we had put an above-ground pool in 2 places in the backyard last summer, leaving us with “crop circles” full of weeds this year. There were also a few dead/bare spots. The 3 photos I attached are pretty much “before.” (Lawn Doctor had already killed weeds and removed the bulk of them.) I asked Jason to diagnose the problems. He is very knowledgeable. He identified the types of grass I have. He took soil samples, tested for pH and moisture. I wanted a regular service to weed & feed, and I wanted overseeding for the many bare spots. Jason came back to apply lime and weed & feed - one was liquid, one granular. He came back again to double-check the effectiveness of weed killer, and applied more. When they came back for overseeding, they went the extra mile in several ways. They removed the biggest weeds and raked by hand. They overseeded whole sections so that the end result would look more cohesive, less patchwork. They left specific written instructions on how much to water the new seeds, etc. I had previously contracted with another well-known national lawn-care company. I didn’t like their cookie-cutter approach - they just send out a worker to do the same application for every customer. I couldn’t get their app to work, and all their customer service agents were difficult to understand on the phone and unable to fix my app issues. That’s why I canceled their contract and reached out to Lawn Doctor. Lawn Doctor is a national company, so they have expert training and support for their franchisees. But the franchise owners are local, hometown business owners, so they are accessible to customers and knowledgeable about our conditions. Jason has been AMAZING to work with! He texts me to let me know when each next service will be done. He follows through. He really cares about my lawn! Jason and Keegan have done GREAT!!
